Description
Acoustic Curtains are commonly used in theatres and music performance spaces to dampen reverberation, resulting in greater sound clarity. In recording studio’s it offers similar benefits leading to tighter sounding recordings and more accurate monitoring.
Our Acoustic Curtains also offers modest levels of sound reduction. When hung across a door or window it will help increase privacy. Do consider that truly effective sound proofing requires secondary glazing, heavy doors etc, but where a small improvement is required this material may offer an acceptable solution.
For best results, the Acoustic Curtain should be ‘gathered’ although it can also be used flat. If you plan to make curtains ensure you use a strong rail which can take the weight.
